Management Accountant- Financial Services

A global Professional Services Firm are looking for a Management Accountant in the London office, for a 6 month fixed term contract, with possibility of contract renewal. The role is suitable to someone who has dealt with managing a team, and has dealt with revenue accounting at a senior level, preferably in a consultancy, audit, professional services or law firm.

Overview:
To support the Finance Manager in ensuring appropriate revenue recognition of all client engagements, and ensure high standards of working capital and engagement management are achieved by supporting client partners.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and support a team of engagement analysts who are responsible for managing the revenue recognition process for their individual business units
Understand key engagement financials across a large group of operating units
Drive performance against cash and billing targets across the whole business unit/client partners
Work with client teams to establish clear working capital performance goals 
Assist the Finance Manager with the smooth running of the working capital team by identifying new processes and procedures  
Assist Finance Manager with recruitment, training, delegation of work

REQUIREMENTS

Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to create and analyse data quickly, advanced excel skills
Previous experience in a client driven professional environment in a financial/business capacity.
